Alternative method of entering things into Research Stations

Clicking and dragging gets irritating.

Please allow us to simply double click items -or mouse over them and hit 1-5 to have them enter a corresponding slot, or, as suggested below, click 5 items in our inventory and hit "enter" to have them automatically put in and "researched".

You can already move them into the research slots by right clicking them. Maybe try to change the sorting setting, sometimes it's a bit buggy.

It's still annoying to convert something like 2000 object when you have a full inventory. Always moving the mouse to the research button, back to the turrets / systems, and then you have to adjust the mouse position because the autosort did activate and the objects move around.

My suggestion: pressing space, enter or whatever automatically researches the current selection. Would make researching so much faster. 🙂

I would like to see an implementation of the auto-research mod built into the core game. When you have 800 listed items (many with stacks) its extremely click intensive and hurts the hands.
