I know this is a very late suggestion but has any one ever just wanted to dock their ship to another ship to roleplay or just to maybe plant a very small bug onto another players ship to use as a spy? Well I know I have and its just a minor thing but it could mean so much, Maybe add options to allow servers to disable that feature as it could be used as a negative thing on public servers but with friends it sounds like a no brainer feature to implement.
As a bonus suggestion if you do add that feature perhaps add an item/block that removes the box icon around another players ship when docked for stealthy uses.
