Turret material vs turret factory

So far I haven't found any turret factories that produce turrets beyond Titanium. They don't have Naonite designs even though they are in Naonite territory. There is no option for upgrading the material in the Titanium designs. I have a few Naonite turrets and I'd like to make more of them. I'm hesitant to commit to this by sacrificing one of my turrets for fear the factory won't be able to produce the Naonite turret.

There are such factories, but most often they are generated in the territory where higher-level material is distributed. This is one of the mechanisms for slowing down the player's progress, so that he does not turn into a terminator too soon. Although of course you may be lucky and among the factions in the Naonite sectors you can find one in which such a factory is. 🙂
