Game crashes at start

I get the error message "we detected a crash on startup last time. Please make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. The graphics settings have been set to very low to try to fix this problem." at every start of the game. After clicking "ok" the intro sequence "Boxelware" appears and then the game crashes.
