580,000 Ping connecting to any external Avorion Server

First off, no this is not on my end, trust me I'd know if I had a ping like this on my general connection.

Should take care of "Are you sure its not your network" questions.

 

Currently connecting to any Avorion server, whether hosted or dedicated gives me ping of  16,000 to upwards of 580,000.

It seems to always occur between 20:00 and 24:00 UK time and is entirely random outside of these 2 variables is completely random, including affected servers.

Because this occurs on multiple servers and the common dominator is me, its a good guess that it is something on my end causing this and I have clue what and googling has revealed no similar issues for me.

 

This leaves me to asking here in hope that somebody may know what is causing this.

It saddens me this has not been addressed. We are getting the same issue on a modded server where there are times there is near zero lag then randomly the ping gets consistently worse until reach over 400k latency.

While this is a totally wild guess, it won't hurt to try the following:

Edit server.ini: find the "[Networking]" section and inside of it find and set "sendStatsToAdmins" to "false" and check if it solves the problem.

@Rinart73 Ill pass that along to the admin the issue is that it affects different people at different times and it doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason only that when it starts, it has no end.
