TESL4
So I currently have around 6 faction pack mods enabled and I have yet to see any of the ships in any designs in both my singleplayer survival and creative universes. I have spent about 2 hours dedicated to teleporting around the map in creative trying to find a faction using any of these designs but haven't had any luck. I also tried just using one faction pack enabled incase you could only have one active at a time, but didn't have luck with that either. The faction packs were all enabled before the universes were generated too. Am I just really unlucky so far, or is this an issue anyone else has? FuryoftheStars
Unlucky: most likely, yes. I think the most the authors can control is distance from core that the faction can spawn. Not distance from the player or even replacing any/all factions with the mod’s.
deep
In my saved data, the faction pack of TESL4 is applied. My faction pack and the faction pack of TESL4 are testing. The other Mods are the simple ones I made myself. Please test it. Make five galaxies with only a factional pack. I think you can see the faction-packed ships at the start of at least one galaxy. The home sector at the starting point seems to have the highest probability. But I have not found my faction pack ship in the galaxy where the faction pack of TESL4 is available. When the first adventurer appears at the starting point where the faction pack is applied, he uses the ship of the faction pack.
TESL4
I'll do some more testing. I have had no luck at all finding anything even the adventurer in my singleplayer. If I remember right I set the range for my faction pack to be pretty wide, like 300 to 150.
FuryoftheStars
Try out to 500? 300 is still less than the starting area. I think the starting area is in the 400s.
deep
distance of the Mods I am testing Factional Packs of TESL4 (minDist = 250, maxDist = 450,) My own functional ships pack (minDist = 0, maxDist = 10,) The NPC faction is using a TESL 4 ship at the starting point. NPC pirates in the 100 sectors around the (0.0) are on my ship. The game seems to use several factional packs.
TESL4
Well that's awesome that multiple factions can exist at once. And does the range for my faction pack show up as 250 to 450??? I set it to 150 to 350, seems it added 100 for some reason.
deep
Yes, I use Mod of TESL4 in my STEAM work shop folder. Lua is (minDist = 250, maxDist = 450,)
