Faction Pack Feedback

 

- Turret Factory materials

The material mission log is very useful.

I think it would be better if there is an icon of the item.

 

- Expansion of the faction pack.

The adventurer used a faction-packed boat! Wow!

I think adventurers, sworks, bottan and THE 4 also need an emblem.

I haven't seen Bottan using Star Destroyer yet.

If he gets Star Destroyer, ...

It is troublesome but fun.

It seems difficult to make a big boss into a faction pack.

But how about a small ship?

This is an option for the faction pack for Exotan and Pirates.

I think the option of a faction pack that specifies exotan is great.

 

- Turret Based Controls

It's still the same feedback, but this was a huge problem.

It is a very difficult problem to make a factional pack.

This appears to be the same limitation as the random generator.

That restriction is not appropriate for players.

I think the number and arrangement of turrets need the faction pack's own rules.

The rules should be clearly explained to players in the game.

(Around the Mod menu faction pack)

 

- Turret Base Size

It's a Vanilla game.

The minimum turret size is 0.5 and the maximum is 3.5.

the correct size (Maybe 0.5.) when a faction-packed ship becomes a corvette or light miner.

the correct size (Maybe 2.0 or 3.5.) for a battleship or dreadnote.

We don't know the most appropriate design.

For example,

If we know that a 500 meter-long ship with a 2x2 turret base is appropriate for ships of all sizes,

That is very helpful.

 

- TURRET BASE PROBLEM

The design that requires 10 of the same turret is very unique.

However, 10 turret bases must be installed.

Because random turret placement causes trouble.

The trouble may be that there are too many turrets.

I think it will be a problem if there are too few turrets.

Is the Star Destroyer with only 10 turrets a Star Destroyer?

 

Players make ships stronger than random ships.

Because we can control the turret's placement.

Players place turrets where they are most effective.

Players expect factional packs to do the same.

 

I think a simple rule is good.

There is no problem if we don't know the rule.

a factional pack places only the number of turret bases in a design with a turret base

Less than 10 turret bases

a few turrets become powerful by getting a bonus

 

More than 10 turret bases

The number of turrets increases by the number of turret bases.

the more than 10 turret bases make the turret weaker

But the overall strength should be the same.

 

If your design doesn't have a turret base,

A random generator should manage the turret.

If possible, a random generator adds 10 small turret bases to the design.

I haven't been able to come across a war between faction pack and factions pack. :-\
