Although i am having some issued with the dedicated server. I cant seem to launch the server, i dont get any log at the appdatafolder either that the server even tried to start. When i use the .bat-file it just executes and goes right back to prompt. Anyone else had this issue on Windows Server? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Kane Hart Posted January 24, 2017 Share Posted January 24, 2017 This is more likely the user using the client version to run a dedicated server in windows. Even I never bothered getting it to work as it had some issues out the box. I suggest downloading this app via steamcmd: 565060 and make sure you login as the anon user. alfr3d Posted January 24, 2017 Author Share Posted January 24, 2017 Ah, now i get a log :D As you said Kane, it was the wrong appid i've downloaded from the steamcmd. changed to the one you posted and now i launches but stops again, although i got an log that told me that mu openGL was out of date.
