I believe this is because I am sharing the game with this account via family share. I do this because this is my You tube channel's account and I want to keep it separate from my default account. However I must!!! be able to upload to this account to show case my work. Can a Dev or moderater pleas contact me ASP with a fix. LordMaddog Posted July 1, 2018 Author Share Posted July 1, 2018 I have no response as of yet However it is my understanding that the Dev of the game is the one who set's workshop parameters. And I believe it must be true because I can upload and post on workshop to other games using my youtube steam account that dose not own the game directly no problem at all. What I am asking for is for koonchi or a dev to change the settings to allow me to post with my you tube account or if for some strange reason they do not wish to allow those with family share the use of the work shop to contact me to work out another way that I might be able use my you tube account. Thank you for your reply :) I have accepted and reaccepted. That's not the problem . Or does it work for other games with family sharing? Anyways we will see if we can add better error messages so you know why the upload failed. I couldn't find any parameters considering family sharing or account rights so we'll have to see if the errors you get can help us find the issue. (This is my youtbe account) I however it lets my other account upload with easy (The account that actually owns it) Thing is as I said before though other game don't give me this problem . I think the information you gave over in your video's has won a lot of new players into the game. its a shame that the DELV'S could not sort out the problem of uploading your ship designs to workshop. Do feel that your designs would have helped a new play get over the learning curve of this game.
