All the files with really interesting data (like Sector names and Galaxy save data) seem to be encrypted in some way or hidden away behind other "cryptowalls". Good luck modding! Boxelware Team koonschi Posted March 6, 2018 Boxelware Team Share Posted March 6, 2018 We're using our own engine and we don't encrypt anything, not saves, not resources, nothing. We do use compression for sector and player files though, it's z lib compression with an offset before the actual data for portability between versions.
