Make Ancient Gates Always active

Its pretty strange that non-xsotan people built massive jump gates that required xsotan artifacts to function.

 

I've tried to mod it, but I can't. It just keeps going back to inactive.

 

Ancient Gates are underutilized in the game because you have to waste a slot on the key. 

Alternatively, make it so that once a gate has been activated with a key, it remains active permanently. 

Second, give XSTN-I an alternative function, like radar/deepscan/scan, and/or object detection or reduced risk of getting attacked by xsotan while equipped or something.
