One Galaxy/Game, two Computer

Hi,

 

i am playing the game at home and at work. is it possible to play in the same savegame (singleplayer)?

i have an external hard disk. saving the galaxy on it should be no problem. where can i find this savegame?

Is there a better way to play the same game? Dont want to start on two computers and lose my progress....

I think the save games are in the%appdata% folder under avorion/ galaxies. I don't know if you can change where it saves it but you could copy your game and take it with you.

Neither %appdata% nor Avorion/Galaxies can be found :(

If you go to the windows start menu and select "run" then type in %appdata% it will bring up a folder called %appdata%. Avorion folder should be inside. It is where you add ships that you download. I made a shortcut to it so i can place ships in easily.

Edit: Double checked when i got home it is called the Roaming folder

Might be easier to just chage your single player galaxy into a multiplayer galaxy. You'd still have to copy/keep all your player data somewhere shared, though, and I'm not sure how to go about that right now.

 

If the client works anything like the server, you might be able to add command line arguments as to where it's all stored. I haven't really looked into that too much.

Ty, try to copy it and add it on my computer @ home. hope this will work
