Custom In-Game Music Suggestions?

So, recently, I found out you could mod the music in Avorion, and as we all know, the kind of music that plays in-game can completely change the atmosphere of it. The default music is nice and all, but I'm more for a space-western feel.  ;)

 

Right now, I plan on including tracks from Rebel Galaxy, which you should check out if you haven't, and a few tracks from the Cowboy Bebop OST, which you should also check out.

 

Feel free to leave other suggestions of any other music genres for others to check out.

I'm actually thinking about composing my own OST for Avorion. I haven't touched my FruityLoops for a while lacking the incentive to. Avorion might be a good reason to start messing with sound waves again. If it will end up good enough, I might provide it for the devs free of charge.

 

Just need a good quality-focused headset.

Sorry to necro this thread, but as far as combat music goes you haven't truly played Avorion until you've been in a carrier surrounded by pirates, launching fighters and waiting desperately for your jump drive to charge up listening to the Battlestar Galactica battle soundtracks. Almost feels like you're on the show.
