[7565] Player data reset on joining dedicated server after server restart

This bug was present in the last few builds.

 

I originally was bugged and required to have server owner delete my player data.

 

 

I can rejoin the server to play on it in this most recent update with server updated to recent beta branch, but after a server restart I will rejoin the server as a new player with new player ID, (or at least no items and a new drone spawn).

If you delete your player data file, everything you had is gone. In the beta branch you can try to delete the index file and the server will then, upon restart, reconstruct it. This could help. If the server owner deleted your actual file then yes, your progress is gone. Don't delete player files.

Only if you're on the latest beta branch. It will be reconstructed on startup, which might take a few minutes.

I take it the exception means there's no hope for recovering my deleted index file

Please run it with the additional options "-t all" (without quotes) and post the log again. Thanks!
