As I understand it, the MOTD is currently only defined in the INI file. Since the game is constantly re-writing the INI, that means we need to stop the server, edit the INI then restart. That's terribly manual and it's inconvenient to have to interrupt players to set the MOTD.
It would be great if there were a /motd command that could be used via in-game console and RCON.
