mining fails

when trying to mine with mining laser better than iron got rather funny bug.

lot is showh retracted into the ship but not added to ammount i have, also without extrating resouses from arteroid/wrec.

Please repeat the description, I don't quite understand what's going on.

What exactly are you trying to do, and what is not behaving as expected?

when i try to mine with mining laser made from better material than iron. i get only animation of getting a material (happens on any matterial possible exept gold). and it is not that important either it mining or salvaging.

So you mean, whenever you get loot dropped, that is a material, you can collect it but it won't increase the number of this material in your menu at the top left?

yes. also resourse count is not lowered in object i mine.

and it looks like it happens if galaxy seed is 0.

Can you jump into new sectors?

i can:

jump to new sectors;

destroy\build\remodel ships;

interract with stations;

get loot from destroed ships;

i cann't:

mine any resourse that cann't be mined with mining laser (ML) made of iron.

yes i tried to use better materrals made ML and got this bug.

actually i could get it ONLY when galaxy seed was 0(zero) anyother seed works nice.

Okay, this is interesting.

 

To summarize:

You can do basically everything, but you can not mine for example a naonite asteroid with a titanium laser? (note: The drone only has iron mining lasers)

And this results in loot being dropped, and you can collect it, but the numbers don't change?

And you have this issue only in a galaxy with seed 0, others work just fine?

yes.
