Sofa
I don't art an awful lot nowadays, between 12-hour class days and a crippling addiction to Avorion, but here are some examples of things I do. The following are in reverse-chronological order (more recent stuff at the top). The rest of my stuff can be found here. 2017 - Khudani space fighter pilot. Insignia reads A4 Combat Group, Clan Ahrkesh. 2017 - Invested in Scott Robinson's How to Render. Had a look. Got bored. Made this instead. 2016 - Attempted to paint a space fighter 2016 - Part of a Totally-Not-WWII™ setting I've had kicking around for a while. 2016 - Someone suggested that Space Engineers ought to have its own counterpart to barbarians in Medieval Engineers. I had this to bring to the table. Unlike wolves or spiders, they try to shoot you and steal your stuff. Also they try to dismantle anything you leave lying around. 2016 - For a VN project that's been on hold for a while 2015 - I was excited for Hardware: Shipbreakers. 2015 - topical internet humor arent i funny?? 2015 - Commissioned work of someone's plane made in Garry's Mod. 2015 - Possibly related to a thing I do 2015 - Painting done without much of a reason 2015 - Summary of my experience with War Thunder 2015 - Medieval folks with pointy objects 2014 - bad guy 2014 - Character for an attempted animeish VN project that sorta lost steam after a while. 2014 - Inspired by a conversation with a friend that basically went "what if the government found out about magical-girls?". 2014 - I heard cartoon woman / historic warship hybrids were popular, so I thought I'd give it a try. 2014 - seyiku lost it 2014 - Space drill 2014 - Super-rough sketch done at work 2014 - Mandatory smoking crab 2014 - Some cyberpunk character I thought up 2014 - Part of my Totally-Not-WWII™ setting 2014 - F6F Hellcat, Commissioned work 2013 - Painting unrelated to anything 2013 - Alternative mecha-girls 2013 - haldoweem. it spoky 2013 - Wanted to make a custom faction in Cortex Command. Never got around to it. 2013 - Bits from a Totally-Not-WWII™ setting of mine. 2013 - Because bulky power-armor is cool. 2013 - it me 2013 - A painting I made of a tank I built in Garry's Mod using ACF. 2013 - Space ships, one of which was made into a 3D model by the good folks at SolCommand, and both of which have been recreated by various Space Engineers players. 2013 - ORB MEAT 2013 - Faces were never my forte. 2013 - annimays 2012 - A piece of concept art for a short-lived personal project. 2011 - For a parallax shift project in a background and layout class I took during my brief stint in art school. Sofa
I really envy your talent here, I can barely manage to draw cartoon animals and starship silhouettes It's not talent, it's the result of me spending the better part of 20 years learning to do it. : P And if you're envious of that, I can recommend hiring lots of naked people to pose in front of you so you can draw them with charcoal. Or at least a bowl of fruit.
Weylin
I don't think I'd have the patience to draw what I hate so much, just so I can learn to break and bend it properly :P It's a steep slope to climb with no plateau in sight, and your self esteem is getting hit in the face by rocks dislodged by those 2 miles above you, and so are they, even kicking themselves when they realize how much further they have to go, and then they get higher just to further realize how much they still have to learn. That happens in every subject you ever choose to study in-depth. Anyone who goes beyond the shallow end develops some level of Imposter Syndrome, even if they don't admit it.
