About Me

  1. I've downloaded way more ships than i should've on the steam workshop, and it does take long to load, but i don't care coz i know i have a lot. The main problem i have is to find the right ship to use in my playthrough. Sometimes i have a lot of titanium and trinium but almost none naonite. Currently you can just filter by "tag" if people implemented them, it's not really practical since it includes other materials as well (like avorion), and it would be nice to have a checkmark option like "Can build" or "Contains: Trinium, Titanium" or "Doesn't Contain: Avorion, Ogonite, Xanion" or something like that. I think it can be implemented easily just by adding a few lines of code (at least i think it's that easy). Would be a nice addition to 2.0, probably many people have this problem (i think), and it would be good for my general sanity and patience. TL;DR - Add a filter that can filter by material or "Can Build" checkmark.
  2. I think it would be nice for there to be more options for filters such as block count. That filter would be decided by the game when uploading, not by the creator. If the ship has 1000 blocks, that tag would be automatically added to the ship. The workshop is (no offence) cluttered with too many low quality ships that many arent and wont be popular and used. Many people go looking for cool ships but get caught up in the worse and undesirable ships. Adding a block count filter could help people find higher quality ships and ships that better fit their desire.
  3. Right now you can choose a material and a blocktype you want to see exlusively in the editor. Would be nice, if the block selection could be with checkboxes, so it would be possible to see all blocks except some i disabled. Most of the time it got my ships covered in armor and to work on the inside modules could be hard on occasions. I want to select by a multiple checkbox system, which types of blocks are shown and which not. Would be way easier for me, to see everything except the armor.
