  1. So, we can add Notes to the Map, which is a nifty function, but, more often than not, a simple icon would make all the notation I might need for a given sector .... Equipment Dock, Shipyard, Repair Yard, Torpedo Availability, Research Stn, etc ...
  2. Does your home sector look like this? Do you get punched in the face by the Map UI after you intelligently put all the missing parts of an Accelerator Factory together in the same sector? The following is from a modded server, but I believe none of the mods change tooltips on the map screen. This suggestion consists of several changes to reduce tooltip bloat: 1) All stations that are mine or part of my alliance are first listed in white, then repeated in separate green and pink lists, below. Just list the stations once, to reduce the tooltip size. 2) List the stations in color, such as how the fleets of ships are listed in color based on the diplomatic relations. 3) An accessibility option for anyone who is colorblind is to use symbols for Alliance, Allies, Excellent, Good, Neutral, Bad, Hostile, Ceasefire and War to follow each station and fleet entry. Content Warning: The following is a result of two station-building sprees.
  3. I've been tagging detected mass sectors every time to reveal hidden nodes and dangers on the map and I find the right-clicking very repetitive and slowly time consuming. Especially when I have a ship with a Scout (Radar) module build. Can there be a hotkey available to tag sectors without having to right-click every time?
  4. Pretty much what I envision is an overlay (similar to the trading Systems, but doesn't require an installation) that is toggled to show territory where your currently held Dangerous (or higher) Goods Permits are valid. Closest I can do now is searching the name of the faction (or at least the rather uniquely spelled part) to show sectors I've found of just that faction. Right now I've only got three permits from different factions, and granted I've gotten in good standing with them to boot, I'd still like an easier visual indicator of where about I can travel without having to worry.
