Fantastic ideas. I love the Gas part. I was coming to the forums to suggest it as well. it could be placed around those Awesome planets in those rings of asteroids. It would be nice if some of the Shipyards featured certain ships. Either race or faction. Would also be nice if we could take some of the user content and put it into those shipyards as a purchase as well. More for RP then game function.

For my server it goes in C:\Users\USerName\AppData\Roaming\Avorion\galaxies\avorion_galaxy In the Server.ini Hope that helps.

Hey Fellow Spacers New Here, Saw the game on Steam green light. Knew it was going to be a gem. Myself and my two buddies pick this up. Have a home server running a persistent galaxy. Loving this game. Can't wait to see this grow and grow.

You figured it out. Depending on what place you are docked. If theyhave Hire crew they often have an assortment of crew types. Even the Security and Borders that are not implemented yet. You will also need Sgt, Commanders and Lieutenant. Good luck

As for crashing a lot for you. I have not had the game crash once and I am over 48 hours played. It has crashed for my buddy. He is running Crossfire. I told him to disable that. IT has been much more stable for him. He would crash every time he entered warp. Good luck

I was three sectors away, I used my Trade Module and say that they needed some Solar Cells. So I bought them flew here and now there is no visible Docking ring\port on this Repair Dock. Is there a trick or was it perhaps damaged off? I have touched it with my ship hoping that getting close would allow me to dock. Thanks

Hi fellow Avorions i I am failing at figuring out how to use my High Tech Trading system. I equip it but don't see all prices for all systems It is a Gold Exceptional one. Not the faintest clue. Any direction would be a huge help. I want to start trading and it is a REAL pain to screen cap each station write down the coordinates and jump and do the same for each place buying and selling stations Thanks

Hi Lannik. Thanks for your reply. I don't mean turrets. I don't think I was clear. They are not a block you construct your ship with. [/img] I mean actual blocks in the construction kit for crafting a ship. This could be used construct a Hanger Door that you could park a smaller ship in and have the door open and close. This could be a block you put on the center line of a ship and that one block can spin. You would make a line of blocks. One block in the middle of this line would spin around. Any blocks you attach to this central block would spin. You see it all the time in space movies and TV shows. A Ring that spins around the core. This would allow for artificial gravity(that might help keep your crew happy as a side benefit) Just a suggestion Cheers.

I don't think these are in game. But I could be wrong. I am still in the very early stages( 30 hours) But is there a plan to have blocks that can move? I have yet to see a ship or station that has moving parts on it. I am thinking specifially of the Destroyers in Babylon 5 that had the portion of the ship that rotated around. Or Stations with the artificial gravaty ring that spun. And Piston block that can go our x number of blocks and back when triggered to do so.
