  1. Hey, you can copy your galaxy folder and take the galaxy with you, it should work for different operating systems as well. But be aware that we don't use synchronizing in any way. If you want to keep the galaxy synchronized, you have to copy the galaxy every time you change your computer.
  2. There will be an event where a lot of Xsotan will want to retake everything inside the barrier. Once they succeed, the wormhole guardian will come back.
  3. Hey, these are a lot of possible changes. To be honest, nothing of this will happen before release on next monday. I will mark that thread for myself and will take a deeper look into it after the release, there are interesting ideas and once the great bug fixing and polishing phase is over we will have more time for new features.
  4. The pronounceable faction names problem is a constantly reported thing. We know that some people want the names more pronounceable, but we also have players that like the crazy naming. Have you ever considered that the letters aren't spelled the way you read them? There are a lot of examples in english, french and german (and others as well) where certain combinations of letters are spelled in a not obvious spell. So maybe the names are easy pronounceable when you speak the language of that faction?

  10. The hazard zone will be lifted by the faction one hour after you destroyed the last ship or station in it.
  11. You can type "/devmode" in the chat to activate the devmode (surprise!). With the devmode activated, you can jump without cooldown and have multiple other advantages. When you reload the galaxy, you also get the dev scripts. When you had enough, you can just deactivate the devmode by typing "/devmode" to the chat again.

  13. You can already queue orders by pressing shift. This also works for jumps.

  15. No, you can just keep playing without to reset your server. Same goes for single player, where you don't have to start a new galaxy.
  16. We are aware that there are a lot of mods and that people want some of them integrated in the vanilla game. We have and we will integrate existing mods to the game. In general there is no legal issue to do so, but we are very careful which mods we use. Some of the mods we do integrate are long planned features which were just not yet implemented, others work around some issues we have to fix differently. On the other hand, there are many mods which implement things, we don't see as important part in the game. We are only four people and don't have the resources to do everything. Some of the mods also don't match with the vision we have for the game. This is the reason why we support mods in general, so that everybody can realize his or her own vision of the game.
  17. You can apply the original design from the workshop. That would reset the colors to the default colors of the original Workshop ship.
  18. Hallo Sir Charles, zu Beginn erst einmal danke, für das Lob und die ausführliche Kritik. Es freut uns, dass wir ein Spiel geschaffen haben, an dem die Leute Spaß haben und mit dem sie gerne Zeit verbringen. Im Folgenden gehe ich auf deine Kritikpunkte so gut ich kann ein, allerdings bitte ich im Vorraus bereits um Verständnis, dass ich bei manchen Punkten nicht sehr weit ins Detail gehen kann, weil wir Interna nicht öffentlich machen wollen und können. 1. Das Handelssystem und der Geschützturmbau sind etwas, was wir bereits im Auge haben. Ich habe den von dir angegeben Thread interessiert verfolgt und einige Punkte daraus bereits in Ideen übernommen die wir noch haben. Im Moment sind diese Ideen allerdings nicht unsere höchste Priorität. Wir fokusieren uns zur Zeit stärker auf Features, die wir vor dem Fullrelease noch ins Spiel bringen wollen, bevor wir uns dann an das Polishing setzen und die letzten Änderungen und Anpassungen machen. Generell gilt dazu, dass wir eine Menge Ideen haben, aber im Laufe der Entwicklung sich immer viel verändert. Desshalb ist es schwierig etwas im Detail zu Versprechen, weil wir beim Impelemetieren und Testen häufig noch Änderungen durchführen um Sachen zu balancen oder weil wir merken es ist in der Praxis doch nicht so ist wie wir es uns in der Theorie vorgestellt haben. 2. Die tote Galaxie, ist etwas worüber wir uns schon länger bewusst sind. Unser Fokus liegt aber im großen und ganzen eher darauf neue Mechaniken zu implementieren als Bestehendes zu verändern. Gerade weil wir es mit Änderungen nie allen Recht machen können und wir dann nie einen wirklichen Fortschritt hätten. Wie gesagt sind wir uns aber bewusst, dass die Galaxie mehr leben braucht und haben dafür schon Pläne die wir vor dem Fullrelease noch umsetzen wollen. Allerdings gibt es hieber die gleichen Beschränkungen, die ich oben schon beschrieben habe. Die Ideen die über das Forum, Reddit oder andere Kanäle bei uns ankommen, werden aber von uns Bedacht und teilweise übernommen oder als Anreiz genutzt um sie zu vertiefen. 3. Auch den Thread den du hier erwähnt hast, verfolge ich recht intensiv. Allerdings sind gerade die Waffen etwas in das wir schon sehr viel Zeit investiert haben und bei dem Punkt kann ich dir die geringsten Hoffnungen machen, dass es noch deutliche Änderungen geben wird. Das Problem ist hier, dass es viele verschiedene Playstyles gibt und viele verschiedene Vorstellungen wie die Waffen funktionieren sollen. Abschließend möchte ich mich nochmal für die Kritik und die Ideen bedanken. Je mehr wir wissen was unsere Spieler haben wollen, desto besser können wir ein Spiel machen, dass den Vorstellungen der Spieler entspricht. Auch wenn es nicht immer so wirkt, verfolgen wir die meisten Threads hier im Forum, auf Reddit, im Steamforum oder auf dem Discord und versuchen uns ein Bild zu machen, was wir noch tun können um Avorion zu verbesseren.
