  1. Still not an update i was looking foward to. So it still the same for me.
  2. no. that was exploit, and you suppose to be happy with tax alone. your station buy goods from someone, why you must take it from them ? your property or not, that was robbery. also negate the point of creating station to make factory, if your trading post able to produce very high tier item (military vehicles, war robot, etc). trading post should be money making, not goods robbery. even with cool down, i can kill my own station to get resource i want with salvaging laser. just set hull bigger than cargo.
  3. yes, it worked so well. however the trading post exploit still exist :-\ hoping they fix issue trading post exploit as fast as possible. note : for people who doesnt know what trading post exploit : 1. trading post will buy NPC cargo haul and you will get profit by tax (20 % of goods). 2. however you CAN take said item yourself. by going near trading post. and transfer cargo between ship and station. 3. then took all of it, all of the goods. sell it to nearby allied faction. btw is there a limit for sector simulation ? i hope they are limited to our sector instead. but unlimited sector simulation.
  4. you lose your time tho. however get shield as fast as you can. if possible get some worm hole / warp drive system. that will help a lot to locate that naonite and trinitium. get trade system to get profit from trade revenue or do some fetch quest. get your first 30 million to create station and you own the game. legit.
  5. I know, right? This made me chuckle too. I was thinking to myself "Well, what do you think should happen when a 100 megaton ship made of metal and fragile fuel containers and critical electrical parts and ammunition for guns rams head-first into a 100 megaton chunk of pure, solid rock hardened by the icy vacuum of space at 100 m/s?" they blows up. however my ship who bigger than said asteroid still blow my ship away. tested with death star sized ship. that small asteroid should died, not mine.
  6. This concerns me. I haven't been playing well enough yet to get to this stage, but I have been meaning to, over time. In recent game that's what my early game was all about. I left naonite space (green ore) with 4 custom crafted turrets totaling 4000 omicron firepower. They easily obliterate fleets of xanion made ships. After mining some more xanion, the whole issue of credits becomes more relevant and i come to topics like this, in order to learn more about trading. Now my salvage operations are made with my own capital ship, with auto-aiming custom crafted salvage lasers. They do quick work of the wreckages and drop maximum amount of sellable stuff. It is far faster than telling other fleet captain to salvage with fighters. Now, i'm not even getting into what ore resources would sell cause i'm hoarding them all to 1 million first for ship building. But the whenever i go sell all the equipment, i'm getting anything from 5 to 15 million credits. Trading is so different. In very early game i had to trade a little bit to get going, but profit is poor. Now with legendary trading module i can see stuff from 10+ jumps away, and the results are poor. 1) Trading module doesn't remember how many items the target and source stations have and can take in. So sometimes i buy too many and have hard time finding buyer for leftovers. 2) When i do trade something, that trade route diminishes to non-profitable quickly. Either station gets full and doesn't consume them, or both seller and buyer equalize their pricing. 3) My ship is not too big yet i guess, less than 200 crew. How big ship do i need to make for serious trading, how much cargo? And then after all that, is it really worth more than the combat? less than 200 crew ? that was too small. i have around 20 k crew who want million of credits per hour. (for fighting ad trading alike. so my ship are flexible). who can jump 100 sector away with ease.i can jump to buy anything for my endless cargo space. but really trading are boring thing to do. find smuggler, and raid a lot of (enemy) stations. then you can create your own trading post. note : trading post will never "eat" their goods. so when its full, its full for real. note 2 : except for military outpost, habitat, casino, scrapyard, etc. only trading post who cannot eat their goods. note 3 : trading post is broken, as soon NPC trade your trading post, you can take them back to your ship (by transfer cargo), letting you to get 100 % pure money from goods. that was INSANE and broken. can can get 140 % if you sell to needy station.
  7. quick answer : 1. your ship. (you can salvage some part of it) 2. your system and turret (if you have it in your ship) (you can take them back) 3. your precious crew. 4. your precious money. (you lost your ship after all). another ones : 1. your distance toward center of galaxy (the closer you go to center : better equipment and system) (basically your time). 2. your time to grind your resource for creating ships.
  8. my suggestion that you should buy trading post. and see you will get 1 billion if you lucky. (since you can take the stuff from them by cargo transfer.)
  9. Can you stop being a bully ? To think this community are salty.
  10. NVM i test it right away. I will find some bug.
  11. combat update 1 should be torpedo right ? why took it so long to get this update ? ps : i will not accept answer like, when its ready. i want to know the progress of this game.
  12. So plan carefully if you want invade station. They are limited.
  13. Use this instead : https://www.avorion.net/forum/index.php/topic,4422.0.html
  14. They dont. And the whole sector will freeze if you leave them.
  15. If they push it to feb. I am sceptic. Probably update not worth of the content.
  16. Here i stil wait for new combat update 1. Near 2 months passed.
  17. I should know steam review filled with fanboy. Who give false adverising. Should see negative review first. At least i learn something.
  18. 1. At least i learn not to buy EA games anymore. Even the review rating are good. 2. Game need criticism to grow up. Unlike you shreeple, who cant get out from idealism world. I am realist. 3. The reason i have more than 2 hour gameplay because of poor documentation, and i believe this is good game at first place. Until i see the updates, the bug, the exploit. They implement feature half assed. 4. I help people in community than you. I have my own value.
  19. And mincraft already succesfull in first start. With small team they hire more coders and artist. However the update declined because they make another game instead of free update.
  20. We are unlucky because we spend our money on dev who rarely communicate with us. And the update took too long for this game to finished. If i have time machine, i will convince myself to not buy this game. And save my money on the game that well made. Most of my time wasted on testing and afk. Believing myself that this game are worthy to play. After i realize the progress in theese year. They are unworthy, mostly come with exploit and bugs. The questline itself are not finished, and fighter system are dissapointing. (Why bother having big hangar but having fighter limited tp 120 ?) And there is a bug where i jump to sector, i got disconnect and retutn in drone, lost all fighters. Also AI trader went AFK gives station become useless. Why bother adding station ? If not because of mods, i will not make it. So many wrakness in this alpha game. And think realisticly, only 2 people who rarely communicate with community, who get profit from 1 game. Do you think they have will power to maintain this gamr ? I dont think so. I wish i could refund.
  21. Or maybe other way around. I think this indie dev didnt work seriously like before. Maybe a scam game like star forge, or any indie game that scam a lot of people. I never put down my suspicion.
  22. Dont be full of yourself. This game poorly documented , and tutorial didnt explain a lot of things.
