  1. Wanderer, I don't think anyone else took your comments as insulting or as an attack. You're good in my book.
  2. I wouldn't consider myself a fanboy, but I do consider you to be very naive when it comes to development. Stability, efficient algorithms, resource costs (for the users PC's), and more all have to be considered with everything you do. And on top of that, with every change you make you often run the risk of introducing new problems into systems that did work. I'm not saying it should take the developers 5 or 10 years to button up this game, but considering the amount of time they do have into it I think a bit of grace and patience should be allowed. You also seem angry or a bit on the offensive side in your replies. Maybe that is just how I read into it. At any rate, chill and enjoy the game. If this game doesn't do it for you, try another. :)
  3. since this game have 1 year development, and take too long to update. i have pessimistic point of few. I'm curious how long you think it should take to develop a proper game. EA should have 2 year. its a max year, dont prolong to forever EA. and beta should be 1 year. or you want this game finished in 10 year ? for game this small it will not take too long to finish. unless dev want to add more. So you do a lot of developing then? If that's the case you should make an offer to help.

  5. You should have said that in the first place. That is something that is most likely able to be done, and I would like to actually see at one point If planet landing possible. Then why not ? I dont get it from community who lack of ambition. Sure i didnt care about planet landings, doesn't mean we should ignore it. Maybe dev capable to implement it ? Why not. Why not? When would you like the game release date to be? Scope creep kills all projects, games or not. Lets not scope creep.
  6. As a mobile application developer and avid game player I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Micro transactions are the new normal. So long as a game/application gives you the ability to earn the same thing over time vs. purchasing it, micro transactions have proven to be wholly successful. Games that suffer tend to be the ones where those upgrades only come through micro transactions with no ability to earn it in game. It allows those with ample time to play games the ability to earn stuff without the expense, whereas people with schedules that don't allow for massive game hours are able to compete by using micro transactions.
  7. Even if a dev were not to read it someone who makes mods might. Wouldn't this still be beneficial?
  8. My God I would love it if this were a thing.
  9. I think I understood most of this. Do you have a blueprint you can share?
  10. I prefer these game play guides more because less steps are missed and less assumptions of the audiences knowledge are made. Maybe I'm spoiled having multiple monitors but I just have ZIGGYD playing on one while I still play on the other. When I sit down to play I'm going to be there for at least a couple hours so I can get in 2-3 videos in that time and I'm left with less questions at the end. I'd say I'm not alone either, he's got a ton of views and my in-law that purchased the game for me pointed me towards his videos specifically.
  11. If you take a worm hole and end up in an empty sector look at your map and start jumping towards the green or yellow dots. You'll soon find a faction that way. They may not be friendly. Most of the worm holes I've gone through to date originate in a faction controlled sector and dump me into an empty one. --Cahotage
  12. Hello everyone! I'm usually not much of a poster, more so a lurker. I love this game though and would like to contribute where I can. My brother-in-law bought this for me on Steam so I could play it with him on Thanksgiving and I've got over 130 hours into it since then. Probably too many hours considering I work full time, I'm a full time student and I have a wife & children! Speaking of children, this game really appeals to my kiddos who generally just play Minecraft when it comes to PC games. I'm considering purchasing this game for their shared Steam account and letting them play local single player games. This game really seems to have a great player base and incredible developers. I'm glad I was introduced to it and hope to get some of my buddies playing it as well. --Cahotage
  13. Koonschi, I think this sounds great. I'm 100% for the update. I do have some questions though. I used to salvage 100% of the wrecks not because of resources but because of upgrades. Sometimes the teeniest piece of debris from some part of the ship would produce one. Will this behavior change? If I clear all of the low resource blocks will I still have a chance of getting upgrades from those? Or should the focus now truly be on just the juicy blocks? Any chance that the independent firing lasers will focus on priority blocks first and then move on? Sorry for all the questions. I've invested a lot of time into salvaging for upgrades and just want to make sure I know what I'm facing in that part of the gaming experience moving forward. Thanks for all you do!
