That's actually a really nice idea... But it would be OP and for that they'll probably make the bio-blocks VERY expensive -
In the control panel in building mode (the window which shows grid size and etc.) there is a command "Hide specific blacks". Its shown as a crossed eye. This will help you to see the internals through the hull.
