  1. I would like to expand on the mission system, simply because doing missions is fun (when they are well done). A good mission system can change alot how we perceive the game. Bear in mind, I do not have the holy grail of the missions system for a space themed game. I just use this for my role-playing sessions (I am a GM). I think you can expand upon this and make something better that what we have in avorion (because for real, missions here suck). I know coding is waaaaaay harder than people think and implementing shit like this may be impossible (tough I have played games with some similar ones. those being black prophecy, star citizen, elite dangerous, among many others).   2. After looking at the feedback and complains a lot of players do both on the forum and on Reddit (that you guys should absolutely check more often) I came to a conclusion. Guys, stop making Avorion for a day or two and instead play some space related games, watch their economy, their combat, and their overall design, take notes on them and see if some of the most interesting stuff is on your reach. Take inspiration from them. Thanks
  3. I am sad to see that the quest system IG is so clumsy and underdeveloped. I understand that the resources and the priorities are elsewhere, still I want to point out that even whit the new update, the quest are useless (more so mid-end game than at the beginning). I have posted a complete quest system a few moths before, but most of them need a lot of work and maybe a rework on the code system, hell some are even so remotely hard to code, still, i think missions should make an alternative to get money, resources, weapons, upgrades and or reputation while giving excellent gameplay. It would be beneficial for the game in the long therm to make missions more varies (Afaik, there is only one mission here and there, and that's it). Hope you guys keep improving the game. Continue to be awesome
  4. Here is one of the suggestion I made (with a few changes) for Elite dangerous a lot of time ago (1-2 year ago I think). I think any game that gives RNG missions to the player should have a more hard code RNG ones. Actually IG the missions suck. So, enjoy my proposal... I have to say. Some missions are hard to code, but I have seen a lot of this stuff in various games, with some variations on their own. Saddly, any one had all at the same time and/or had implemented them very well.. Inspiration comes a lot from the Black Prophecy, Freelancer, Galaxy on Fire 1-2, Elite dangerous, atr point Gemini, Stellaris, Star Drive, and many more.
  5. So, I love space and love space games, I have played a huge amount of space related games. I have come across a lot of different POV of weapons, armours and modules. I was thinking about the game and the unbalance between some weapons. So i decided to take an hour or two and make This. I am sure great people can expand upon this, and maybe some of those elements would be implemented.   6. Actually no. Shields are particles around your ship? some times charged sometimes not. They are there to disrupt the path another particle would take if the particle is charged. The projectiles (in general, kinetic weapons) are propelled by gauss technology, and thus are charged. So the shield will deflect the kinetic bullet, but since they have waaaaaaay more mass than lest say a photon or even some plasma, well they cant deflect it very well.

Perfect for the bigin of the adventure or to scout new areas. Get it here RWF - Electron- Class K MkI - Scout Class ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tough its only 10.7 K Cost in Iron, its versatility nad its expanded Framework space gives him the perfect edge to imporve on its already great Polivalence. Its small size give it an edge wihout sacrificing too much armor. Get it here RWF - Proton - Class G MkII/MkIII - Corvette Class ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The proton Class G is the perfect equilibrium betten defense, offence, and agility, its powerfull engines gave her a gread edge on speed and agility wile mantaining high armor raiting. Get it here RWF - Neutron - Class F MKII/MkIV - Frigate Class ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While not as fast as its predecesors, the Neutron Class F its a worder to comand, Its 6 Weapon mounts give him a hig Omicron raiting while mantaining a very high Armor raiting.
