I have always read and believed that turrets shooting multiple shots are either based on a bonus, ie "+%shooting until overloaded" or a "x2" modifier appended to the end of the damage, and that the double, triple, and quad in their titles and the turret itself are merely cosmetic. While the majority of turrets seem to follow these rules, I have noticed some turrets firing multiple shots with no visual bonuses. The triple turrets in the attached picture both shoot 3 per shot, and the double turret with the bonus fire rate fires 2 shots. Either this is a visual bug in the turret text that the bonuses are not showing up, or the commonly held belief that the titles are cosmetic is only partially accurate. Either way, it should probably be looked at. Edit: Added a followup image. This gun shoots 6 shots. It seems like chainguns with a low dps(less than 10 maybe?) will fire its titled number of shots, giving the turret a dps more on par with similar turrets of that material/level. However, this is still visually inconsistent.

    Turret Factory bug

    I came across a turret factory that, when adjusting the supplies for a custom turret, was decreasing the damage variable when increasing the number of relevant components, and vise versa. Only the damage variable seemed affected. All other stats increased/decreased correctly when adding/removing components. The bug did not appear game-wide, as the next factory I came across worked correctly.
