  1. Seems to me like a pretty solid analysis of what appears to be happening, aswell as the bugs you mentioned ofc.
  2. I'm not a fan of the root block having such significance either, to me its nothing more than a start point for building. I do like the idea of a main bridge but I get the feeling it could heavily impact ship designs (though I suppose its all down to how a block like would be implemented) As for highlighting the core block - As far as I know there is no real way to tell except you might get a general idea by going into build mode then copying the saved design to clipboard and see where its being grabbed from since I 'think' it trys to paste so the root block snaps to whatever block your targeting. (Some designs seem to behave like this others dont - or I have forgot where I put the root block on those ones)
  3. Been crash testing my ship designs lately and this has led me to hide my root block a few layers of systems + an armor layer inside my ship. Now the only time I can ever seem to destroy my ship in 1 hit is by full-boosting straight into an asteroid. On full collision damage if I'm not boosting full speed face first into an asteriod I generally just bounce off with relative damage. If its other ships or stations I hit then depending on its HP I either smash straight through or send them spinning. (I've become convinced if your root block takes enough damage your ship will be destroyed no matter how much hp it had, which is why I started giving it extra protection and it seems to be working for the most part)

    Gyros Please?

I agree that something more is needed to boost rotation. The way thrusters are working at the moment you need way more thrusers to gain rotation than you do to gain forwards, backwards and sidewards movement (To the extent where you need to dedicate most of your ship from the ground up to rotational thrusters if you want high rads) Note: Im happy to dedicate a good amount of a ship i want to be manauverable to acheiving that goal, just saying that the ratios for different types of movement dont feel quite right.
  5. my bad I assumed the site kept the original image when you clicked. Fixed.
  6. I had to go D-Thruster heavy to get these stats, probably went overboard. So personally would like to see something to control pitch/yaw/roll a bit better. With the amount of thrusters on the ship currently, it accelerates faster going sideways than it does backwards or forwards lol and it would still be like that even if I cut the amount of thrusters to the point where i had next to no pitch/yaw. Building big arms out of every ship doesn't appeal to me as the first asteroid field i traverse will likely be my grave xD (Everyone likes to build differently so forcing people into only 1 style doesnt seem like the best idea for a building game - is the point I'm trying to make I guess) Completly unrelated but is it going to be possible eventually to merge edge blocks together?
