Once they drop their goodies ther is major frame rate drops. The more powerful shipyards are near impossible to deal with cleaning up the drops

You can easily replicate this one by lightly hooking an asteroid to your ship and pushing it. the faster it bumps you the faster you and it goes.

Occasionally you'll notice your projectile weapons quit firing or if your're mining the visual que (icons) doesnt show up. This includes the host player. This generally happens for about 1 - 5 seconds at a time. Also if a player disconnects thru a timeout the entire server suffers thru one of these lag spikes for an infinite amount of time. A full server restart is required.

super slow right now 500 km/h The next layer adds better engines. Im testing right now with layering as much as possible. The current speed goal is going to be around 1500 to 2000km/h

The inner hull of my layered protection. notice im at 304k hull and Ive only used about 17k of abbatium for my inner layer of protection. This is my first complete rebuild after getting the hang of the game along with our friends on my server.
