I should say that this happens on Singleplayer and on Multiplayer as well.

I just bought this game. I'm getting lag. When, the lag happens, I get the message <System> Wrote performance stats to the User folder. This happens about every three seconds, it is unplayable. I opened the folder and this is a 50 MB file. I ended up with 9 GB of files in an hour of trying to play. How can I turn off this performance stats thing? I checked the options in game, but I didn't see an option to turn this off. There is a settings file in the Avorion folder. I changed sendStatistics=true to =false, but that didn't solve the problem.
