    Clean-up script

    Not to troll an ancient thread, but is there any updates to the code, given all the API changes of late? I Admin for a MP server, and if this will run once and exit cleanly in a messy sector, I'd use it. Invoking entitydbg.lua every jump to clean things up bugs out every so often.
  2. Actually, you can leave without having to destroy all the hostiles. I do this often. You just need to get your ship out of range and the mining ship will follow once it's 2km away. helps to have speedy mining ships, too.. ~400m/s or more. ;) Addendum to suggestions: An editbox to rename the ship you're currently in. (Handy with Fleet stuff) The Scanner could add cargo data on targeted wrecks (not sure why that info vanished, and cargo on ships is shown without the Scanner upgrades) Secure bug-tracker; allow us to add to reports already sent in, instead of sending a duplicate in, with more info. A means to transfer the entire (or until target ship is full) lump of a given material/good to target ship. Clicking the ">>" button 1000+ times to move steel is a serious pain. ;) The center-UI arrows for target could be a bit thicker and higher contrast vs background. Hard to see grey on fog most times. Also many times the edge-markers get covered or obscured; I've had enemy AI's sneak up on me while selling goods a few times. Will read through accepted suggestions/features and see if I added any duplicates >.>
  3. It would be nice to be able to connect to the ships you own, and be able to remote-manage the crews, and have the ship's pay listed in the Crew Pay tab of the UI. Also, Remembering the Sorting method chosen (a line of XML) so re-logging into a MP server to quickly find an item you know is in ship's inventory by material & rarity sorted isn't so awkward. While in RTS/Tactical View, a right-click Menu like the original, for Task control of the selected group of ships would be quite handy. As it is now, the ship(s) selected can only be moved about, with limited Tasking. I recall a right-click menu that only had "Move Here"; that could be utilized to add the Task assignment to that group once it arrives at the destination. Example: "Mine" would send the ship(s) to the location of right-click and upon reaching that point, they are assigned the Mining Task. For Player-Owned ships, remembering the Task assigned (as they do when set to Patrol, or Attack Enemies) for Salvage-assigned ships would be most helpful with cleanup. A simple event monitor such as Attack Enemies has to trigger Salvage ships when a Wreck is spawned. What's with Guard This Point? It's the same as Escort in appearance, as the ship assigned this task follows, instead of actually Guarding (Escorting a coordinate instead of another structure; returning to that point once combat is done) LOVE the game so far!   4. Would it be much to ask that the Legendary variants actually highlight the Objects, as indicated? As yet, in Sp and MP, I still have to fly around till I find the large asteroids to claim. Also, a feature, or a sub-type of the upgrade module, would allow highlighting of wrecks, as they can get very hard to find visually, and often totally unable to find. Additionally, a system to bookmark locations within a sector via right-clicking would be quite useful!
