  1. How does one disable the said flight assistance?
  2. To test this, I placed two identical symmetrical railguns, one on a rotational locker block, one on hull block. The locked turret looks like it hits my own ship's shield (beam doesn't penetrate past the shield), unlocked turret has no such problem
  3. I mean, that's exactly what it does, are you asking for the scaling factor to be visible?
  4. What it says. Currently the only way to check if your IFG is covering the whole ship is to delete it then reattach it, which is more than annoying if it's deep inside your ship. Some way of seeing if your IFGs are covering the ship properly would be really useful. I found out the hard way my IFG wasn't covering my turrets when I lost them 3 seconds into a battle
  5. You can scale any ship yourself though, just save it then load in clipboard, paste and rescale as needed

  7. Make a large cube out of hull block, then add framework block of the same size (via match block function or by typing dimensions manually). Their sizes are different
  8. Oh. That clears it up. I thought they are supposed to have the same glow as their icon, which is kinda misleading
  9. The game's ship generator works that way. It cannot produce meaningful-looking ships, instead they usually all look like a mess of blocks (except for cargo freighters). I'd say it's more of a station generator, in my opinion ;D
  10. In the above screenshot are 7 hologram blocks and 7 glow blocks. Hologram blocks look fine but glow blocks are all the same white color, despite what their icon looks like. I'm on the beta branch. Bonus issue: the glow/holo corner block icon is indistinguishable from the glow/holo cube icon!
  11. Here's something I've always wanted to talk about. It's hard to stop a large ship, that's true. But there's something else that's weird. Have you ever noticed how fast do any ships brake from boost to regular forward speed? It's pretty much instant. But then, braking from regular forward speed to 0 takes ages. I think there's something to be done about this.

  15. I agree, I wanted to get the value of the repair cooldown and seemingly i'm unable to do so..
  16. I want to try displaying it on screen, because going into build mode, then pressing repair then pressing repair ship only to be greeted with "5 seconds left" sucks to be honest ;D I want to know how much time is there until I can repair
  17. Well turns out you're right in a sense, this is embarassing. My integrity field generator simply didn't reach the very tip where the turrets were placed :-[
  18. I noticed once when my singular mining turret was shot off, I dropped two of them, but was able to pick up only one
  19. My ship is based on two large (3/4th of ship's length) titanium armor blocks, turrets were mounted directly on it. So no, it doesn't require the base block to be destroyed (or else I think I'd notice)
  20. If you paste a ship from clipboard, you can rescale it with W, but the ratio between 3 dimensions is lost. Please fix it so it scales without losing dimensions!
