  2. This is a problem with steam authentication, where the server never receives the necessary answer from the respective authentication servers. For now just use --authentication 0 in the server command line.
  3. Something very similar is planned for the fighters upon their death. I will ask if it could be extended to normal ships!

  6. The docking is a big part of Avorion and it is not intended to fully automate it. However, a block type that would't require you to carefully navigate close to the station is in planning.
  7. Yes, you are right, change the material of the whole template in the upper right corner of the selection window. You can change the material by using the "change block type" button in the building mode.
  8. Hi, this is a known issue and will be fixed in the upcoming patches. For now just delete old, no longer needed logs.
  9. With the next small update a feature will come, which will make it way easier to turn your ship in the right direction to brake without drifting!

  13. This time is required to calculate the sector that you jump to, and can therefore not be completly reduced. There is a longer delay for jumping long distances that is not moddable as of now. The devs understand that this is very annoying especially in the end game and are looking into it.

  17. Thanks for all the input, the devs are already working on some of the things you mentioned. For example the toggling for moving forward is planned for the upcoming alliances update. The free camera is even live now. Press Num 5 and control it with arrow keys. For the proposed changes of the building mode: I, personally like it better the way it is, as it lets you plan ahead how much credits/ressources you have left for other ship parts. As for your other ideas we will discuss them with the devs :)
