Just an update, I am able to play the game now after my windows reset. Although its a bit of a nuclear fix to the issue. good that I've been planning on doing it anyways. in any other case I may have just stopped playing.

Just Finished the Uninstall and reinstall, same issue. I used DDU in safe mode to uninstall the drivers and then rebooted - reinstalled geforce experience and updated to the latest drivers, same issue. I might actually do that, reset my Windows to Day 1 and then start from there. I'm due for that anyways. Thanks for the input, will advise if the OS Reset fixes the problem

Thanks for the Response FuryoftheStars, Graphics drivers are up to date, I have Nvidia Geforce Experience installed that keeps it up to date. I'll try a full uninstall and reinstall, see if that helps. just to note though, i have other games running no issues. And yes, when I launch the game, I get to the Boxelware logo, and then it will eventually crash. I do not get to the point where I choose singleplayer or multiplayer and load a galaxy. haven't touched the game via cli. I can try to record my screen if you think that would help.

Hello Avorion Support, Noticed today that the game would not fully launch, I get to the initial splash screen and then game would crash.
