  1. I recently tried a game called Starsector, it is also made by a small group of people (4?) but it has been in development for over 7 years. What I found particularly amazing was the world simulation in it, where the universe around was simulated economically and strategically to meet and create demands, give random quests and take those quests away, the world felt alive in the "hub" areas of the galaxy and AI for smuggling was really ... smart or rather very well thought for. Are there any plans to do improvements to the world simulation at any point in Avorion in that level of scope? My saddest experience about Avorion is how everything only happens in your live sector and how obvious it is. It is the same 4 different major things that constantly occurs: 1. pirates attack on clockwork. 2. xsotans attack on clockwork. 3. a salesman comes to the sector. 4. a resource depot suddenly lost all its X resources. I mean .. :( it got old very fast but I do love Avorion a lot and its combat mechanics in particular... but the universe -factor just isn't there and now that we have entered a "released v1.0" and "expect DLCs" -era, does it mean that the universe is considered now finished and polished to the point of its maximum capable perfection? Like I mean the economic meta is highly potential but somehow falls short once you get your parts for your guns and fleets, which is what I used those factories and mines for, to make either credits or materials for guns but they were worthless beyond that, as if a great idea was not fully utilized. No accessible planets to eat X amount of tons of some high tier technology to become part of my corporate faction... -depth. A part of me wishes Avorion wasn't yet v1.0, I personally love games for their early access status because it often means the thrill of development is still in developer's minds, it won't be considered "finished" until the "picasso's piece of art" truly is finished, like look at that Project Zomboid badboi, it could have been released as v1.0 over 5 years ago but instead they are reworking the game now in new engine to include animations, something it definitely wouldn't have seen should it have been "finished". Are you finished? Here is a sneak peek of the game I mentioned and how they did things in their 2D space adventure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acqpulP1hLo
