  1. Without knowing i can almost guarantee that every single content creator in this community thought at least once that the skin pattern of a block did not mesh well with their ship design. Examples: Windows not lignign up with the rest of the hull design or being cut in half Revealed energy blocks with details that are either too small or too big for the rest of the ship Most block patterns are simply terrible in small scale ships so until you get to xanion you'll have a front seat view to massive window, or smashed armor. When building a pattern using blocks you will probably jeopardize structure just to make them fit properly, which shouldnt be required since the blocks are already there, they just mismatch. So here's the idea: Make block skins draggable and scalable. You select a block, and turn on the tool with a button, then you become able to drag around the skin of said block or scale it with the mouse wheel. Smaller ships will get to enjoy the textures of every block instead of cover everything in armor just because they look awesomely terrible. Larger ships will get more design options to play around with since you can make details larger More possible details with existing game assets.
  2. Suggestion: Make an Unmerge button that splits stuff into halves along the active mirror axis. Kinds of split: With the X axis active, blocks would split into left and right. With the Y axis active, blocks would split into top and bottom. With the Z axis active, blocks would split into front and back. With any two or all three active, blocks would therefore split into their respective quarters.
  3. The "neutral" editor should have the same amount of light coming from every angle, its the idea of it being neutral. As it is right now it is just gray background but the light from a single source remains. Shouldnt need to build obstruction-ships to block the sun 😕
  4. Oh, no, i meant as civilian ships of the imperium. Since GW never really gave them a canon on how they look the closest we got are those combat modified ships as carriers and transport instead of using a dauntless class cruiser to mine an asteroid.
  5. If you are still working on this, could you add some smaller ships? Mostly to have something good looking to start the game with if its not much to ask, i've tried myself but i honestly cannot manage to land the right angles, curves and details, all my ships are fancy bricks xD The Escort Carrier would make a good ship for extra captains you use just to mine stuff in some far away system while you fight pirates and bosses and do your stuff. It's the one im trying to replicate but the rounded front is making my life impossible.
