  1. I posted this in the bug report forum on Steam as well but wanted to throw it in here too in case anyone is looking at this forum instead that can help. I play Avorion single-player and the game client is crashing consistently for me every 2-5 minutes. When the game crashes, it freezes for a moment before my entire monitor goes black and gives me a "no display active" type error message - at this point, it's like my monitor has gone to sleep and I have to click the mouse a lot to get it to wake back up. When my display returns, Avorion is still running in the background. I cannot see the game screen at all, but I also cannot use my mouse to click on anything on my desktop. My only option at this point is to open my task manager and force quit Avorion using keyboard shortcuts as it is not responding. Then, my PC is back to normal. The crashes seem independent of what I'm doing in-game: I've crashed flying around, mining, fighting, docked, and even while in the build menu or in the galaxy map. The crashes can happen as early as 30 seconds after I load into my single player world. PC SPECS: OS: Windows 10, latest version/updates CPU: Intel i5-9400f running at 3.5 GHz GPU: AMD Vega 64, 8 GB of VRAM, latest AMD drivers RAM: 16 GB Plenty of hard drive space, I've tried Avorion on both SSD and HDD, still crashes Avorion is running the latest patch version on the stable branch. I have no mods installed and have tried reinstalling Avorion and verifying the game files through Steam to no avail. The game runs buttery smooth at the highest settings at 60 FPS for me, but I've also tried turning the graphics down to the minimum as I wondered if I was running out of video memory for some reason. This did not help either; if anything, it made the crashes more regular. The full client log of my latest attempt at playing can be found here: https://pastebin.com/1gkz902e Of that, here are what I assume to be the most relevant lines of log: 2020-11-06 18-37-27| Available video memory: 0 GB 2020-11-06 18-37-54| Client UDP: Error receiving from 127.0.0.1, error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host, received bytes: 0 2020-11-06 18-37-54| Client UDP: Error receiving from 127.0.0.1, error: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it, received bytes: 0 2020-11-06 18-37-58| Client UDP: Error receiving from 127.0.0.1, error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host, received bytes: 0 There are no errors or odd messages in the client log at the end when it actually crashes, just some standard autosaves and stuff. Any help at all would be appreciated. My guess is it has something to do with the fact that it says I have 0 GB of video memory available? Thanks.
