  1. I've been having MAJOR issue with this bug. Just lost a station founder ship to MY OWN FLEET after accidentally bumping it after undocking. I am sick and tired of having to command all my ships to make a random jump just because I bumped someone. I can understand stray shots triggering aggression, but collision damage, especially at low speed should NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, result in my fleet opening fire. Even stupider is that these ships are capable of shooting each other in the first place. Why on Earth would I ever want my carriers to attack each other? Why would I ever need one of my personal ships to attack another? Why are ships even CAPABLE of engaging another ship belonging to the same player or alliance?
  2. I would add one more thing to the QoL changes. The repair command for fighters at the moment is quite annoying for players who've never used it before, as it requires a selected target. I would change that so if no target is selected, it is interpreted as a "repair me" order, because having to select my own ship takes time that I don't always have. For the fleet mechanics, I don't know what more you could add. It would definitely make fleet management less tedious.
  3. I've been having the exact same issue, and it only ever occurs with my escort ships. As soon as the ships are given a move order, or literally anything the make them stop escorting you, the cease fire immediately. But as soon as you call them to escort you again (i.e. for a jump), they open fire on each other again. It's as if they each see the other as a threat to their escort target, despite them both protecting the same ship. I have lost a rather expensive combat destroyer to these civil wars, and I hate having to fly solo with no wingmen. IMO this could be fixed by not allowing ships to target other ships that belong to the same player/faction, under any circumstances.
  4. I don't think that we need reduced friendly fire damage, I think it just needs a few changes: 1. Fleet ships will NOT, under any circumstances, open fire on a ship belonging to the same player/alliance. I have had to break up several miniature civil wars between my fleet recently, and it's a huge pain in the butt. 2. Change ship AI to not only cease fire when there is a friendly in the way, but also move to get a better firing solution. 3. Add some way for NPC ships to realize that it's their own damn fault for entering a crossfire between two other ships. 4. Togglable damage cap per shot on friendly ships (For those mammoth 1-shot-1-kill railguns).
