This is an idea I have been thinking about. It would be cool if you could see the galaxy core while flying around . Instead of having nebulas in every system. Actually put the nebulas on the map view and name then Like Jackal nebula or something. Then when you enter that area on the map you will see the reflected nebula and be in it. Like if the Jackal nebula is blue and red... only red and blue nebulas would spawn in each chunk. Would be nice to see more black space. Or see the randomly generated galaxy core in the background. Would also be nice to see new backgrounds. Maybe more movement going on. I really feel the backgrounds need some more work to feel more apart of the world. I have even noticed some of the planets don't even have a texture.
Maybe even Points of Interest. Like Dark Bad Lands. Maybe in this area pirates factions are more common. Maybe In some areas there are more mineral spawns more asteroids. There could be lots of stuff that could make the map and backgrounds more interesting.
