  2. After doing some googling I was able to determine that Cink is an element on the current period table which is more commonly known as Zinc; hopefully this minor QoL alteration in the English Versions of Avorion could be made in a subsequent revision.

Thank you all for the replies thus far; hopefully we can collectively derive the proper sequence as how to upgrade the size of the Mines / Factories as the in-game Factions are already able to do so. Docking ports are indeed a must; and being in a system with warp gates is helpful in garnering additional traffic to your Factory / mine as the local economy will support which seems to work better for lower level factories as it would seem the AI factions are granted factories randomly once a sector is generated with little regard to the materials supply demand. Prices cannot be set beyond the inventory level supply demand variability preprogrammed into the prices of any respective good to my knowledge. Once again, if anyone (@koonschi ) would be perhaps kind enough to let us know how to upgrade the size categories of player-owned facilities it would be greatly appreciated.

So I've been experimenting somewhat with the ingame economy of Avorion and after branching off from Noble Metal Mines i've delved into factories but am not quite certain how to upgrade the size of a factory. If anyone is aware of how to increase the size of a factory (Small - Medium ---- XXL) information regarding the process would be appreciated.

    Greetings all: Built a small titanium warship / all purpose for early game / mid game AI-Captained purposes which stock features include: 22k Durability 25k Shields 1.7 turn 1.6 yaw 0.7 roll strong breaking power 100 cargo slots Designed for 79 crew. http://pastebin.com/nRBPan9m Based on tests if Nanonite turrets are placed on the stone plates this ship is completely capable of defending assets in a starting sector when outfitted with rare system chips against nearly all enemy spawns. Feedback appreciated.

A short list of suggestions that I hope to see in upcoming versions of Avorion: 1) Regarding Fleets: a) Please permit more than one ship at a time to be selected for commands to be issued more efficiently b) Please permit Ships to be ordered to effectively Salvage b2) Please permit fighters ordered to salvage to automatically continue to the next nearest available salvage c) Please permit ships to be order to pickup / haul cargo / drop off cargo (for those of us which are beginning to delve into building factories next to Ore / Noble Mines) 2) Regarding Stations: a) Please permit players to transfer all cargo (of any type) with single-click to and from stations; This suggestion also applies to crew b) Please show specialist levels in crew transfer page c) please enable the use of systems chips on stations 3) Generally speaking: a) Please permit Sergeants / Lieutenants / etc of grade 3 to be promoted to the next tier. b) Please permit A generic Space Station which can have modular factories attached to it (with a station builder, let them "dock" to the existing station and merely increase the station's versatility) c) Please permit Gem and Diamond Mining in Giant Asteroids as a station d) Please decrease the sale value of force turrets e) please permit force turrets to move asteroids f) please permit shipyard construction of saved ships Thank you in advance for considering these suggestions; additional commentary from the community is encouraged below.

Avorion.exe and AvorionServer.Exe seem to increase in amount of used system memory with each click jump and action during a game instance; perhaps it could be possible to instruct AvorionServer.exe to drop specific information about sectors after it is 11 player sector moves (jumps, gates, wormholes) removed from the player's current position into a physical computer file stored on localdisk to keep the database from storing information unlikely to be immediately reused in active memory. Thank you in advance for considering this optimization.
