  1. As a small update, I finally managed to change some stuff around for testing purposes. After spending 2 billion and about 20mil Avorion on kitting out 2 stations with a whole LOAD of assembly block, I now got my drones fleet upgraded. - I did replace the fighter template I used before (a 200 block one), but a stupid fighter template I made myself (20 blocks) - the actual fighters are no longer tesla fighters, but are now lightning fighters - there are actually even more drones deployed now hehe In battles where they all get launched, the fps seems to drop less for sure (as in an example the Xsotan invasion on my 0:1 home sector). So yea, guess every little bit helps

  3. Hey there ! I was wondering if there is a way i can edit the game files / inventory for my ships (for my existing single player world), either ingame itself or by editing files. The reason i'm asking is as follows : During battles I sometimes get a large dips in FPS. Normally it's running at 144 fps (vsync on), but sometimes during battles I dip down to 1 fps. So i'm trying to figure out a bit why this might be happening. I'm not sure it is tied to my fighter drone squadrons, but it is something I want to look in to. At the moment I have 3 fighter ships (2 on AI control), filled each with 120 drones. My own stations in the sector also react with drone launch on hostilities. These stations each have somewhere between 60 and 120 drones in them. After the battle is over, I call in my salvage drone squad, once each 4 ships with 120 salvage drones each. Meanwhile I have 2 dedicated mining ships out of sector, with .. yes you guessed it 120 drones each. They are each also on a big loop of mining/refining. Most of these ships have drones that are based on a workshop design (tie fighter), and most of the fighter are tesla fighter (meaning lots of pew pew lasers being fired). I have noticed that on launch on my main ship, even when it's alone in the sector, there is an fps drop / lag. In bigger battles where my main ship is also alone (thinking of end boss for example, I'm also getting severe fps drops. But in that case I wasn't even using drones. So what I want to test a bit is : - is it the drones design template that might be causing the issue. - is it just planly the amount of drones that is the issue - is it because they are tesla drones But in testing this, and making the drones anew ingame, that will just take to long. Hence my question if it is possible to edit the inventory of ships / spawn them in. As to my system specs : During gameplay processor usage sits at around 20-25% (i9-9900KF) Graphics card at around 40-45% (Geforce RTX 2080 super) Ram is only 35% used (32GB total DDR4 @3200mhz) Game is running on a Kingston SSD (not the lastest generation but new enough).   4. Thx for your reply! Much aprreciated ! I was hoping for a better way to reroll them, becasue destroying them seems like a waste. Would be amazing if you could research something specific on a turret factory. For example have one specialised in railguns, soi it cna make both the coaxial version and normal version of it. And for a credit fee, reroll the research if needed to get a chance at better starting turrets. :) Anyway in regards to my trading post question : I just destroyed a pirate shipyard guarded by a boatload of dreadnaughts. I salvaged and picked up all the stolen goods, unbranded them and gave them to my Trading post to sell. But it seems this is not the way it was intended to work, as the station does not want to sell those extra items. Is the only way really to map out a route with a freighter to travel around sectors and sell specific goods at specific spots?
  5. Hey there ! I've got, this game for about 1,5 weeks now. And I've been spending way to much time in it :) I'm currently at end game so to speak, sitting in sector 1:0 with a fleet and building up couple of stations. But I do have a question about these stations in particular. Hopefully someone can help me out. 1) Trading station. So I made a trading post, and it's buying / selling goods. However it seems to sell stuff at a loss. Is there any way to configure that? Or is it primarily used to only sell trade goods you have a surplus of (as in you need to supply it yourself instead of having it buying stuff)? 2) Turret Factories What do you guys do to get better 'rolls' on the turret factories? Destroy them if they don't have anything useful and rebuild for a new roll? 2nd question on turret factories : they create tech 52 turrets for me. But I can't turn those in a blueprint as the tech level of the station is only 50 ? How does that work, and is it able to be solved? Thanks! :)
