We are happy to share good news with you today! Our official Community Servers are now assigned, and you can already explore the galaxy together with other players! The verified servers are clearly marked with a blue checkmark and are accessible to everyone without a password. The servers are provided free of charge in cooperation with 4NetPlayers and are managed by selected administrators. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the numerous applications! Unfortunately, we could not assign a server to everyone, so some applications are still on the waiting list if a server becomes available again in the future. We will continue to work closely with both 4NetPlayers and the server administrators to ensure that you get the best performance from the servers. We would also like to inform you that our friends from Stray Fawn Studio are releasing their game Nimbatus - The Space Drone Constructor! Today at 18pm CEST it will leave Early Access! :) For the launch there is a discount of 25% for everyone until 21.05.2020 9am PST! We are happy to announce that official community servers are coming! Due to the current Covid-19 situation, we are all encouraged to stay at home and we want to help you through this time. We have already made all the necessary arrangements and are currently working on the final touches to get the servers live. After consulting with many server hosts, we have found out, that it works best if each community plays according to their own ideas. That's why we provide you with the servers for free and you can administrate and lead them the way you want! We only set some ground rules to ensure that everyone is treated fairly. You can decide how you run the servers, which community you want to build, how often the server will be wiped, and so on. How is this going to work? We have organized servers for you via 4NetPlayers, which we will provide to you for free. There will be several servers and it is important for us to work closely with you together, to get the best possible experience for you and to achieve improvements! The servers will be marked separately so that you can clearly see which ones are official and verified. If you are interested in administrating a server, send us a quick application with the following content to server@boxelware.de : - Your name - A link to your Steam profile (must be public) And please answer the following questions in your application: - Are you already hosting a server or do you have experience in game server administration? - How long have you been playing Avorion? - Do you already have a community? If so, how big is it? - How many administrators would manage the server? - Please tell us, which kind of server you would like to have. For example, PvP or PvE? - Why would you like to administrate a server, what is your motivation? actually it should work to copy the safe folder. but we can't guarantee it because there are two different operating systems :) But you can try :)

Hello, I am glad that we can exchange again :) Me and the whole team understand the problems you described. We can also understand that some things in the game annoy you because they don't match your expectations. First of all, I am very sorry that this is the case. We try our best to give everyone a good gaming experience. As in a previous post by you on the same topic, I ask you to understand that we cannot solve all problems overnight. :-\ We have already announced through steam that there will be an update in which we will consider and implement players' wishes. :) We also mentioned that we are definitely not done with Avorion yet. We are still fixing the bugs in the game. So I ask you and the rest of the community for patience. :) Unfortunately we can't promise that we can or will fulfill all wishes. Often it is the case that one player likes certain features and the other does not. Also unfortunately, I cannot understand why you think that we do not pay attention or listen to our community. Because we collect all your suggestions and wishes and we also react to the feedback of the community. Please understand that we are a small team, so it takes some time until we can implement things. I assure you that we will not let you down and continue to work on improvements. As offered last time, you can write me a pm in which we discuss this topic together. Hey, as the others wrote, you should ask the server admin to update the game. Or maybe you can turn off the automatic steam updates for the future? Click LIBRARY on the menu bar. Right click on the game for which you want to stop auto-updates. Click UPDATES from the top menu. Open the dropdown menu under Automatic updates. Select Only update this game when I launch it. Click CLOSE.

We have plans but.. pssschhht! 8) Dont tell anyone 8) Right now Avorion is our priority. As you mentioned here already, the bugs are very important, and as we wrote in the steam anouncement, we want to make an update with stuff that you guys wished for. :)

Hey there :) Could you send us some screenshots so we can check the issue? This would help: Press ingame F3, screenshot us the profiling Send us your Ping, (Press F1) Turn on your performance graphs -> Graph settings, scroll down, checkmark Frametime Graphs -> see graphs on the right corner of your game Press F10 ingame, a special log file will be created, you find it in your Avorion folder, its called "client-profile.json" If you could send us this, it would help to find out whats wrong :) Thank you!
