  4. This is really weird that you are getting this now. We had this same thing a few times in the past including 0.29.0.xxx but the latest 0.29.1.xxx has cleared it up for us. We read something about an item iD, or a bad handler somewhere in your galaxy causing this. That said, we found relief after abandoning all the tutorial missions and destroying Lady Adventurous BUT that is only anecdotal. We were seeing errors with FleetCommand.lua in the console but we aren't seeing that anymore. .027.0 was bad, .0.27.1 was good, 0.28.xxx was too short lived as we jumped into the beta, 0.29.0.xxx was exactly what you are currently experiencing but it all cleared up in 0.29.1 My only suggestion is to have everyone delete that Lady and kill the missions but like I said, we did this so haphazardly there is no real evidence this was the problem; could have been coincidence.
  5. I have not seen any hangs since 0.29.1.xxx. Only crash now is about that merchant.lua script but that isn't game breaking.
  6. I read in the latest update that this was addressed but I can't imagine this is how it was intended. If you press shift or control it now toggles on. That is fine but the only way to toggle it off is open the block select menu and untick it. This makes building a chore so I can't imagine it being the design. Would also love to see the ability to pin windows open and remember the stats setting.. having to reopen everything every time.... The patch notes also mention something about "space" doing something... it only opens the chat box for me.

As long as someone was once in game to start the simulations. I really don't have much other info but will give up whatever needed. I will say that this problem existed in 27.0.xxx but went away in 27.1.xxx. We've noticed it starts around the time we are all at some phase of the tutorial but could just be a coincidence. In 27.0.xxx the server was throwing .lua errors about that Fleet Commands mission so we assumed it had something to do with it and that is also the same time we started hanging in 29.0.xx as well.
  9. The server hang bug that exsisted in 27.0.xxxx is back on the server side client. Start tutorial failed to start. Adventurer dialog (1st jump) worked fine but fleet commands is dead. Fleet commands was suspect with the server crashes last time and this time is coincided with 2nd person to get the mission "Fleet Commands". I had the mission active for a day, although the adventurer would not talk to me. Once the next player got the mission this morning we started to see server hangs.

Version .28 UI Build: (All of my build keys have been rebound from their default keys) - Crew stats (number of crew) not showing the potential add numbers when holding a block to be placed. - Sub menus (grid size, x,y,z planes, selected block info etc...) not staying open or 'pinning'. I can mange to get two at a time but opening another menu closes others. - X,Y,Z plane hotkeys not rebinding - shift, ctr, alt not rebindable and toggle doesn't remember it's setting after selecting another block -resizing blocks while trying to use shift reverts the block to original size, not matched size (would love to see that toggle come back in some fashion; not inside the block select menu for a per block use) I am a features guy.. love new features.. hate removing useful features.. I can see the utility in the new build UI but not happy with the removal of useful features.
  11. Running a server. Version .29: The difficulties are still named the same as ver28. Running on '2' and as prescribed there are no reconstruction tokens but~ Any way to stop the alert from spamming the lack of said tokens?
  12. I don't dispute your picture but I did just restart a server galaxy and the equipment dock in the starting sector is fine and has the new sector maps as well. Anything out of normal that you can think of that you might be doing? (mods or something)
  13. So we were getting a server hang issue after the server was trying to call the new mission .lua. We had a previous galaxy going when the new missions made their way in and most of us tried them with varying degrees of success but there was this one guy~ He let his Lady die and every time he logged in, within 5 minutes the server would hang. The logs showed it was calling the new mission lua and throwing an exception before hanging. We did resolve this by having everyone delete Lady entirely and abandon the missions (which only worked after the 10/30 client side update). Next time I'll be more proactive and collect the logs but I still wanted to bring this to your attention.
