Me and a friend of mine have been interested in starting a new game soon, but we'd like more people to play with before that. -Time zone is MDT -Expert difficulty -Vanilla, but mods aren’t necessarily off the table -Ideally a pretty long term run -Going to be in the same alliance, but not everything needs to be done together. Just don’t do stuff like taking more resources or items from the vault than you should or start wars without discussing it. You don’t need to do everything as part of the alliance, just work together with it and everyone else. -VC is ideal, but not strictly required

I'm getting back into Avorion and I'd like someone to play with. I usually take my progression overall rather slowly, as I'm a bit of a grinder in games like this and also like to work on faction relations quite a bit. I'm a bit rusty but I do know how to play

I'm not particularly inclined to any of the servers I've tried out so far, as usually everyone is too spread out and at least one of them has Kill on Sight, which ruins the fun for me. I want a proper cooperative experience, where people actively work together and see each other more than once every ten hours. Build, battle, trade and transport, do some actual proper teamwork together. To me, Avorion feels like a better PvE game, than a PvP game, it always has.

I haven't done multiplayer before, and I've been thinking about trying it out. From what I understand, PvP is a thing, but I'd much prefer a more cooperative experience in a game like Avorion. That's largely just due to the fact that someone who has played on the server a long time could obliterate a newbie if they so desired. I don't know how much people can join a server in the first place, but I'd like there to be a good number of people. The map is huge, and I'd like if I'd be able to actually see someone sometimes, ya know? Unfortunately, none of my friends play half of the games that I do that have multiplayer (10+ they don't have), so it's not as easy to experience that great cooperative feel I love sometimes.
