  1. I hope there is a resolution to this issue as soon as possible. As a long time client on the Prospercraft server i have noticed this unusual behavior since the update which leads to the game being unplayable. Client-side information: -Server Load is usually less than 50% due to the significant hardware power of the Prospercraft server. Iv been with them roughly 3 years and the hardware is superb. -Network behavior is queue'd up rather than handled instantly due to the huge bandwidth issue causing essentially a Queue of things for the network to deal with. -When not moving, and when nothing is happening, the game reports a low ping and things move along. As soon as i start making activity (Send out 10 Fighters, and shoot random things) my ping starts to climb up and up as the server very slowly plays catch-up with my activity. The CPU load is still fine, but the Connection barely hangs together. My ping keeps increasing the more that i do. For this example i build up activity which says i have a ping of 60 seconds. -I then recall my 10 fighters and stop all activity, then witness my ping shrink from 60 seconds, very slowly down to regular pings, but i have to wait several minutes for the server to play Catch-Up with all the activity that has happened. Often this can lead to instant death because enemies spawned in and killed you with Torpedo's, but you have no idea this has happened because to you they haven't spawned in yet. -The network continues to build a massive queue of things to handle, because it is haemorrhaging too much data that it cannot send to everybody quick enough to keep the gameplay live and playable in any kind of synchronisation.

  4. Love the new update, i just hope that we see a hotfix for the crashes that Ryzen users are having, im desperate to play but i cant! :D
  5. I have no idea what the cause is. Sometimes i get 2 minutes of gameplay, sometimes i get 10, but never over 30. Started happening soon as the Mining Update hit. Default Avorion, no mods, all files verified, all drivers checked. AMD Ryzen 7 1800x (8x3.6ghz Turbo 4.2ghz) Nvidia GTX 1060 6gb. Windows 10 Home 64bit up to date. 16gb Corsair Veangence 2600mhz (2x8gb)
  6. Mate, you are a legend. See this is why i love this game and its community, you dont shunt people away or get cocky with 'lol this nub doesnt know anything', you helped me learn, you were nice about it, and now i can help others by passing on that knowledge. Ty @Mp70 !

I strongly believe in this game that enemy ship volume needs a big increase, in order to make the battle last longer than 1 second. I mean, that or all weapons needs to be reduced in damage. Fights end far too fast in Avorion. No point launching fighters if Rail and Lightning ends the entire game, tearing the fabric of challenge completely away.

Gotta say i love this game, been playing it for a long time now, but after playing on servers at Insane Difficulty iv come to realise that once i have gotten so far, enemies just cannot compete with players who are wised up to how the game works. I saw a enemy scaling mod which makes enemies up to 10x the size they used to be, which better prevents players from simpy one-shotting them at avorion stage...but this mod is out of date. Does anybody (for the latest version) have a way in which i can significantly up the scale and size of enemies? I want to have fun again in Avorion but no matter which options i play with, its just too easy and i feel like i have no way to push the settings much, much higher. A difficulty bar Beginner-to-Insane just isnt sufficient enough for me to customize and increase the challenge. I would love a few things to be honest with you: A. Ship population/density in zones. (100%/200%/500%/1000%) B. Enemy Size Scaling (100%/500%/3000%/10000%) C. Enemy Turret# Multiplier (allowing enemies to break turret limits) Just ideas of course, but the current difficulty slider, which only changes numerical things, doesnt rly help the actual challenge much at all.
