  1. Not sure how to fix this but when Avorion is set to [borderless windowed @4k], the game bleeds onto my other, non-4k monitor. If I uncheck "disable display scaling on high DPI settings", everything is forced to one monitor but my FPS drops from 50-60 to 20-30. System: i7 6800k 1070 GTX 32 gigs of ram Is there a particular log that would be helpful with this? *update: I found that if I change the display setting to 'Full screen', restarting, then setting the resolution back to 'Borderless', the resolution changes itself to 2560 x 1440. Why is this? =Khalysto=
  2. I know there are mods for additional tool-tip information, but I would appreciate a mod that can sort turrets by damage (and more if possible) in the Building Inventory menu. I enjoy this game, but I cringe every time I have to scrutinize my weapon loadout and it's killing the joy. Please help. =Khalysto=
  3. Can someone, anyone, please explain why cargo ships behave the way they do? I can be docked at a spaceport with 5 goddamned docks minding my own business, then suddenly *blam!*, a cargo ship decides to smash my ass out the way - like they own it or something. Is this intentional? Why do cargo ships seem to favor the dock I'm at when there are 3 or 4 other options on the station? Answer = mega troll. =Khalysto=
  4. Issue: FPS drops to 1 during fight with 20 pirate vessels, client freezes, then crashes to desktop. Upon reloading, hangs indefinitely at "loading". Map never loads. Windows 10 GTX 1070 running at 4k Core i7 6800k w/ 32 Gigs Troubleshooting: - I sent my galaxy to a friend who hosted a multiplayer game and I was able to get in - It appears the game was running during my failed attempts to load because I spawned in a drone on the other end of the map and I could see the wreckage of my vessels, surrounded by pirates. - Included both client and server logs since I'm not sure where the root cause of the crash resides. =Khalysto= clientlog_Wed_Feb_01_20-20-01_2017.txt serverlog_Wed_Feb_01_20-20-06_2017.txt
  5. I'm not sure what triggers it, but a ship that was working fine will suddenly stop responding to orders. Nothing (noticeable) has changed that would explain why they suddenly stop responding. Troubleshooting: - entered ship to control it then exited = no change - removed captain and moved to other ship = other ship works fine - moved captain back to problematic ship = problematic ship still does not respond to orders - Killed client and re-launched = problematic ship works fine I'll include a log the next time it occurs if that would be helpful. =Khalysto=
  6. Thanks for the reply. Not only did I find my ships, but they had replicated themselves for some reason. Before crash I had: 1 main ship (on other side of wormhole) 1 armed escort 2 miners --- Upon recovering my ships I had 1 main ship 4 armed escorts 4 miners Good reward for the time it took to get back to them. Let me know if you need a file to investigate the replication issue (if it warrants investigation of course). =Khalysto=
  7. Is there a file that stores fleet information that I can somehow restore? Are there other methods to restore my ships? =Khalysto=
  8. After entering a wormhole my client crashed on the loading screen. Upon restarting the game, I spawned in my drone and my entire fleet was gone. They no longer appear in the fleet registry list. Core i7 6800k GTX 1070 Windows 10 I included 2 logs because I'm unsure which was generated as a result of the crash / relaunch. clientlog_Wed_Feb_01_11-02-24_2017.txt clientlog_Wed_Feb_01_11-23-28_2017.txt
  9. As the title reads: Since you add turrets to your ship via the Building Inventory screen (adding directly from inventory while in build-mode doesn't work for me at least), it would be nice to filter them by DAMAGE so you know you're adding the most effective turret to your ship. =Khalysto=
