Improve the utility of Scanner Systems by giving them the following utilities: 1)Detection of incoming hyperspace jumps, player is notified when the system they are in has a hyperspace jump calculated to it. 2)Proximity alert when a ship jumps within range without being in view. 3)Ability to tell when a ship in range has calculated a hyperspace jump 4)Ability to save the design of the outer shell of a ship in range, that is you only get blocks that are directly visible, hidden blocks are not saved in the design. 5)Ability to scan for locations of blocks that are not directly visible, player selects block type to scan for, and holds mouse over the location they wish to scan for a duration of time after which any relevant blocks are highlighted while others are hidden. 6)Ability to see the stats of a turret the player is currently pointing at if they are in range.
  2. Hey, as it is, weapon.recoil would be a great tool to achieve beam weaponry that slashes across the target. Problem is, high weapon.recoil also rocks your ship around like a ragdoll if it is a small ship. Could a tag be added for Weapon so a specific Weapon will not cause the ship to rock around if it has a weapon.recoil value set, that it only affects the weapon behavior?
  3. Right now, you meet Equipment Docks in Iron/Titanium/Naonite regions that sell Fighters, but you have no capability of using them without Trinium, and Hangars. I suggest adding a Fighter Pad block, that is available from Titanium. Just like Turrets, the blocks would require that the Fighter that is to be placed on the Fighter Pad is of the same material, or lower than the pad, thus making them worse than Hangars that just accept any material Fighter. Also, the fact that the Fighter is physically present on the ship would make them vulnerable, especially in the Iron/Titanium regions where you do not have Shields.
